Helping You Overcome Your Struggles

Life is hard. There's no doubt about that. From daily living to fulfilling certain expectations, we're spread thin sometimes. What's nice about it is that we have loved ones we can turn to. However, there are times when we become afraid to talk about our struggles. Most times, we're afraid of being a burden to others. Other times, we're afraid of showing weakness.

When the going gets tough, Serenity Behavioral Health LLC is here to help. Our counseling services cover substance abuse, mental health, and crisis intervention. We cater to clients in Baltimore and its surrounding areas in Maryland.

What does Serenity Mean to me in this season ????/

What does serenity mean to me in this season???

Serenity means loving myself .....Right? I certainly love myself all parts of me... TODAY.... At times, I have not lived up to my dreams or I may not feel like I am performing at my highest level...This is my reality sometimes I simply do not feel good about myself..... where I am or even what I have accomplished. In my authenticity, I must admit I have these moments more than I would like to acknowledge.

There have been times wherein, you don’t even want to get up out of bed because of the unknown or because of the idea of starting something new; whether that be a job, a relationship, a class, whatever that thing is that gives you anxiety.....THAT THING.

In times such as these with the Pandemic changing our normal more than many would have liked including me...we may begin to feel like we are not living up to my own potential..... or maybe I did not improve myself because I did not have the wherewithal to survive my fear, my unanswered questions the self-doubt that speaks to me with destructive criticism

... I had to sit and look at some of the things that kept me from appreciating who I was, who I am and who I am becoming!

I have to look deep in myself at the things that I have done or not done in my quest for security..Hmm I ask myself what if I could have a do-over....Hmm would I? Not sure on any given day except today....And today, I feel CONTENT with who I am in this season. I feel good and love myself- all parts of me. I am the sum of all my parts..... (all of 'em)

Sometimes I have to go beyond me and breathe introspectiveness from so far inside that I able to take remove energy blocks and surrender to forgiveness of self and others.

The people that have hurt me, are the people I have learned to love, some may have broken my heart yet I love..... sometimes those people were family .... my family (by blood and by choice) and I continue to offer love....we all have to go through a journey to reach our own serenity and we all take different routes to get there. But loving ourselves is one way to get there.

I LOVE ALL OF ME.... #JOURNEY2SERENITY
